Paperwhite 12th gen stuck on boot logo after running Véra twice (firmware 5.20.1)

Kindle Paperwhite 12th gen (2024), firmware 5.20.1. Jailbroken successfully with Véra. Afterwards I accidentally tapped the Véra book a second time, and the device is now stuck on the boot logo (tree) with no progress bar or spinner.

What I’ve tried:
– Charged on a wall adapter for hours
– Hard reset (power button 40 s), repeated several times
– Original USB cable, different ports
– The device doesn’t appear at all on macOS (System Information → USB) or on a PC

Is there any known recovery method for this state?

I don't think you need the vera book once you jailbreak. Do you see it on your computer after you plug it in via USB? If you do, maybe you can delete the vera book and restart it.

I accidentally tapped on Vera book when tried to delete it.

I don't see Kindle on PC or Mac when connected through USB
