Follow the post #26 in this thread regarding koboptch.exe

Note: you may need to see the old threads for the kobopatch version after 4.38.21908 (4.38.2308 and 4.38.23171 if you are using the older Kobo model). There are fixes for some patches that don't work.

All but one of the patches I used for 4.38.23171 work. The one that doesn't work has had the offset updated by @jackie_w and it now works. So there is no need to go looking in other threads. The patches I've posted will mostly work. And any that don't work should be posted in here so maybe they can be fixed.

I installed the release update with the patches I listed in the previous post, and it worked fine. Thanks to JSWolf and hatuluang for the detailed information.
