So, at the risk of sound all jingoistic, this has been one of the top days of my life. Bush is gone. A new President is in. He sounds like someone who is dedicated to getting things done. He may turn out to be lousy. I'm not starry eyed. But for the sake of my country and the world, I am hoping that he turns out to be what I hope he is, rather than what others fear he may be.

I, too, hope that he wasn't playing an act during the election. At least one thing is positive (imo), and that is that he isn't one of the ancient ones.

I sincerely hope he'll turn out what everybody hopes he'll be, a people's president that will think of the average man too instead of only the rich.

Oh, and I heard this morning he's a party animal and went partying all through the night!
