Well, I smoked the last cigar in the box last night, and decided to see how long I could go without buying more. Which means I might buy a pipe!

Learn to draw.

Become much. much better at guitar.

Up my massage schedule from one a month to at least two.

Say "good morning" every single day to Lyn, until she replies. Maybe she doesn't speak English, maybe she doesn't like the look of me, but one day she'll at least reply. On that day, I'll smoke a cigar.

1. Read more.
2. Keep getting back on the GTD bandwagon.
3. Give out more Karma. Lots more. For weird things.

2009 will be the last of the noughties - so I shall be as noughty as possible for the next twelve months, before it is too late.

that sounds like a good resolution to me, actually... not that i need to base it on the year... i rarely know what year it is without stopping to think about it anyway.

What?! Lyn doesn't even smile at you? That's just wrong! You, at the very least, deserve a smile or nod, some form of acknowledgment. Keep at it. Try saying "good morning" in a different language every day.

A pipe? Yummy! I don't smoke but there's something about the smell of pipe tobacco.

My residence has a very nice "common room", with a coffee bar, fire place, and wifi. Free tea and coffee from 6-8 am and pm. My day usually begins there, looking at my calendar and answering yesterday's "put it off 'til tomorrow" emails. Then Lyn walks in. It's the highlight of my morning. She's attractive, of course, but the key point, the main attraction, is the mis-matched fuzzy slippers. One is a pink bunny and the other is, I think, a tan dog. I smile and say "Good morning!". I only know her name because her sister, who visited over Christmas, told me accidentally. "Oh, you know Lyn?".

She does smile, but hasn't said anything yet. I love a challenge. I love the slippers. I want to know their story. Did they COME like that? Of course not. Does she have a twin somewhere with the other mis-matched pair? Maybe I should borrow Hugo and Lefty and ask them to investigate for me.

You can steal it, that is what it is there for

I just took the book, and hand typed it into a spreadsheet I think you should be able to actually download a copy.

I have a google/gmail account and I figured out how to save my own copy to google docs (so I could edit which I have read)

If anyone is interested you just click File - Save a copy. :-D I DID IT!!!

hehe

One of my resolutions is to read at least 10 books from this list this coming year... I read slow. It took me nearly a month to read Jane Eyre!

I need a nap before going to the New Years Eve party. Ain't gonna happen. It's 40 miles away, so maybe I can work in a short nap while Tim drives. Soooo sleepy!
