That makes sense and is good to keep in mind so I don't rage at the world when I don't get that 30 day badge when I swore I read "daily"

I also have read listening to an audiobook with Audible does not count, although both are owned by Amazon.

Looks like it didn't count a couple of days (I only read a few pages), so I won't get gold. It was fun but I was never going to get Overachiever because I wasn't getting Kindle Unlimited.

I cannot get all either since I missed a day and am not registering a new kindle. Oddly I got the Prime badge for borrowing a book from Prime when I used the KU service (also got the KU badge), but I do not have prime on this account.

I saw someone on the Kindle subreddit say they found a used Kindle at a thrift shop for like $10. Maybe I'll have to keep my eyes open in case that badge comes around again, but I doubt I'll find one in time to get it this month.

Well, another instance of a day reading not showing up in the challenge. That was two days ago. If it doesn't show up I won't get the last 2 badges. No big deal, just annoying.

It won't go through all the way with the credits/update until February 15th, so you should still hopefully be okay. That is incredibly annoying, though. I checked mine tonight and fortunately it caught up for me this afternoon.

Well, as of a few minutes ago it says I read 28 days. I actually read 30 days. It also activated the gold for 30 days and the completed all badges so even though it says only 28 I have credit for 30 and got all 14 available (at least to me) badges. I understand there are maybe a couple I didn't have an option to receive. That's ok. I mainly wanted to get the $5 credit and I had enough badges for that a couple of weeks ago.

I'm glad the badge went through for 30 days, sounds like it's off a bit with it's formula but it's counting right where it actually counts.

Ended with all badges but two -- the stupid "register a Kindle" one, and the platinum for getting all the other ones. Oh well.

I am torn about gamification - I think it's a great way to incentivize activities, but when they are poorly done, or built by people with no experience building game systems, you get the kind of nonsense we got here -- different badges for different people, silly badges with ridiculous requirements, etc. Eventually they can lead to less engagement, not more.

Yes, I enjoyed it, but they need to remove ones like register a brand new kindle device. And obviously if they say read a KU or Prime book when you don't have those services...It's fun for the incentives they do that can fit every one.

I got managed to get all the badges. I read 31 days so got the last 2 at the end of the month. I got the $5 early on and the last couple of weeks, I wanted to see if I could get them all.

I to ended with all badges but two, today I received an email telling me that the Kindle Challenge has ended but it did not mention if I got the credit or not, I suppose I did because I has all but 2 badges but I can’t find where will it appear in my account, where does one see the credits?

They have been consistent that we shouldn't expect to see the credit prior to 15 Feb.
