I have a situation where I had my Kindle and Audible accounts set up as USA accounts, then I moved my account to be an Australian account. But it has caused situations where even though all of my content is now Australian, if there is a mismatch between place of purchase, such as the Audible book was purchased after my account became Australian, but the eBook was purchased when my account was a USA account, the whispersync will not work and I could not resolve it. Not saying that I will do this, but the only way to resolve that whispersync issue is if I permanently delete the eBook and repurchase it under the Australian account so as the original places of purchases match.
It annoys me that the eBooks and Audible books with my different original purchase countries cannot sync as some content was purchased before switching countries and this could be used to resolve that, but it’s not worth the cost, or even the trouble to work out all of the books that I have that have this issue.
