That makes sense. My kindles are too old to generate the new types, so I never encountered it.

Now that KRDS is being used for practical purposes it makes sense that it be more robust so that its main capabilities will not be broken as Amazon makes changes to the data it uses, such as the new annotation types that were added recently.

I took a quick look at the pull request by zevisvei and while I have not tested it, it seems reasonable to me.

zevisvei's change has been (manually) merged into KRDS and the PR has been closed.
