So, if this sort of thing hasn't been done yet, for mass import and export to a cvs file or the like, will it ever be in the future updates to the plugin?

My guess is that this plugin probably won't get any new functionality. It seems to be abandoned by the original author. I managed to make some simple fixes to make it work with newer versions of Calibre and uploaded it here. But making new functionality is more complicated. Both technically as QT is not one of my strong suits and the question of being able to maintain code in the future.

The mappings in the plugin is stored in the configuration/preferences folder in json. The brave and adventurous can edit/replace the file 'config-folder/plugins/goodreads-more-tags.json'. Make a copy of the original in case errors. If you delete the file it will be recreated with default settings.

Thank you so very much Snorre! However, I can't find the location of these folders you speak of. Can you please kindly point me to the correct direction. I'm usually pretty good but this has lost me. I'm also autistic woman in her 50's.

You can also open the configuration folder from inside Calibre.

Open "Preferences" and choose "Miscellaneous" in the Advanced section.
Click "Open calibre configuration folder" and the folder opens in your default file manager. There you should see the plugins subfolder where goodreads-more-tags.json is located.

Can you make it so it also collections tags from the website Romance.IO it has a lot more tags to help you sort your books when you have a lot. :
