Wow, it's great to see a new option for buying ebooks! I'm adding it to my bookmarks.

I'd also be interested in seeing the Ereader format being offered, since that is the least intrusive DRM format and the only one I use. Alternatively, is there any way to pull up a list of those books offered in Word format?

This is a reply to Lemurion: "Thanks very much.

I wouldn't be surprised if MR members are more likely to want the manual PID option than the general public. I would expect it's something that most people neither want nor need; but that is very important to the minority that do use it."

Yes there is. See this link.

Now the bad news. Only 303 books in that format.

I really have high hopes for the ePub format. The guy who is driving that format (Mike Smith) is a sharp guy who really knows his stuff. (also one of the nicest guys on the planet)

Reply to JSWolf: "People who use MAC and Linux without Wine or Windows access at home will need manual PID entry as they cannot run Mobipocket Reader."

Assuming they do not have a Bookeen device....yes they will need it.

It looks like things will only work once manual PID entry is allowed.

I have received email directly from Jessica. There's some other strange problem cropped up now, but it looks like we'll get there shortly.

I will, of course, follow up when things are sorted.

i wouldn't be surprised if MR users are more likely to buy a lot more books than others - but i also suspect that part of the general public (including mac and linux users) adds up to at least 20% of your buyers on top of the MR users.

why not include a text link so those who either prefer to do things manually or else can't make things work otherwise have a page they can go to to add their PIDs?

I remember CyberRead stating that they were going to support EPUB many months back but I see no sign of it at present as the catalogue is primarily Mobi and lit with a few PDF docs.
Does anyone know if the support is still forthcoming?
