What I would like to see in a future 10 or 13 inch product:
Gorilla glass screen, foremost! Retain Wacom stylus
USB C connection, with higher functions such as audio, HDMI/Display port functionality
Option for white body(!)
Reduce bezel (if possible), if not possible, place buttons on the bezel

I currently use Evernote with Graffiti text input. It works OK, but refresh isn't great.

Well, this is a vouch for kits. There was at least a modular mobile project, "build your mobile hw selecting components like for desktop machines", intending to propose standards; I do not know how far these projects are getting.

Advantage of a HDMI port, direct connexion to a standard video card.

only old cards, new ones already have usb connectors like virtual link if you have a usb only cable.

And the new specifications of displayport allow a DP - USB cable.

https://www.displayport.org/displayport-over-usb-c/

hdmi inputs are from the past, usb and thunderbolt are the new standards.

Still not sure.
I unfortunately did not have the time to get properly informed.
The USB-C connector may max at 5A... But that is also valid for USB 3.0 . I see that USB-C may allow for more than 5V.
USB-C may allow for Alternate Mode - reserving pins to transmit whatever, including video. Of course, this requires an implementation, it is not a necessary part of it.
USB-C allows for USB 3.0 [speed]... Just like traditional USB.
The USB-C may be the future, but I do not see how that is a value - what I see in practice is that I have plenty of traditional USB cables, working perfectly fine, and I see new connectors as just a hassle to front, if anything.

Hi Guys and @Booxtor,
It is very intressting to read what is new on Onyx BOOX, but what is with a smaller e-reader.
I like reader with 6" display. I dont need bigger screens like 8" or more.
I saw a new BOOX POKE or BOOX POKE Pro. A ereader with 6" and android 6.1?
Where I can found any datas about this e-reader?.
Or is for BOOX Kepler Pro anywhere a firmware update to a higher android (as 4.0.4) to download? Where?
I was very happy if you can give me a positive replay about this.
Kind regards
Framorg

@Booxtor and everyone
Thanks for sharing the information. I would appreciate if Onyx will continue on the support for existing devices, as it is more economical and environmentally friendly for keep using them as long as possible, rather than buying a new device.
Personally, I cant look at lcd screens for more than 10 or 15 minutes and then I get bad headaches and eyestrain. Max2 Pro (4 gb RAM) has been the most expensive device I have purchased to date. I don't regret buying it all, as I can work and read for extended periods. It does everything I want, but I wish that Onyx will provide the following in the next few years: 1. a split screen feature (running 2 apps side by side). 2. Continued firmware support for 5 years with at least one upgrade to Oreo or newer android version.
Thanks once again!!
