BTW, I would consider thinking about @Jack Brewhouse's suggestion for a flare or shadow, behind the text of the title and the "Doc Vandal in..." bits. I now can't see the new cover (drat you, MR!), but given the base color, a goldish/yellowish color might be just the ticket.
