Konichi-wa, I'm Steve Jordan. Today on This Old Thread, we've been watching the Montsnmags Party Convention preparing for the week's festivities, providing doughnuts... oh, excuse me, I'm now being told they are cupcakes... uh, I mean that cupcakes were provided to eat, not that the Montsnmags Party is made up of cupcakes... And, uh, we've seen VivaldiRules apparently hopped up on sprinkles and speed-reading from the teleprompters, just before having a nice game of fetch. There are buttons, balloons, boobs, booze, bumper stickers and some real nice dancing girls wearing those skimpy red, white, and blue things. I've personally spoken to a llama, a lemur, a dog, a cat, a fish, a super-heroine with a magic pinwheel-wand, a green sort-of smiley-face with no eyes, and a fairy. I've also spoken to Mindy.

However, we're watching the skies here. The Supreme Pan Global Meteorological Monitoring and Survey Administration and Fantasy Beach Volleyball League ... Spgmmasaafbvl for short... is reporting that global warming is causing an unexpected rise in sea-levels in our area, and if things do not soon reverse, this venue might just be flooded out. (Exactly why we are watching the skies when we may be flooded any second, no one in the Spgmmasaafbvl has been able to explain to me yet. Maybe they're waiting for evac copters...)

Will Vivaldi come down from his sprinkle-rush? Will we be flooded out by rising sea-water? Will Pshrynk put in an appearance on an Egyptian barge? Will Paris Hilton show up and distract everyone so severely that no one will notice any of these things?

We could propose standard work weeks be cut to 4 days, 6 hrs per day, with no reduction in salary.
