That makes a little more sense. From what I can see of the specs, the Aura should do 802.11n. It should do the other modes (except 5GHz), but it obviously isn't. I have no idea why. The Aura HD uses different hardware and drivers, so it is probably something in the Aura hardware.

Checking in my router, it says my Aura is connect using N. Maybe a Compatibility issue between the Aura and your Routers chipsets? I don't know, any who glad you got it working! |

I was wondering the same thing but the additional access point I added to my network is made by Netopia and the Aura will not connect to it either when it is set to 802.11b/g
I have set the Netopia to 802.11g just for the Aura to use and now I can set my Linksys router back to Mixed mode for all my other devices to use. I still wish I knew the problem because I will probably have trouble with the Aura connecting to certain hotspots if I take it traveling. |

I guess maybe you could just sell it and upgrade to the Kobo Aura One when it comes out. That should solve the problem. ![]() |

Oh yeah.. and if I have a flat tire while I'm traveling I'll fix that by just buying a brand new car!
