KU Payment

Speaking of trying to click through....I got a KU book just so I could buy the audio for $1.99. Thought I'd try clicking through the ebook so the author would get paid for it. On my HD6, it kept crashing. I have had that happen with other books in the app. I find the Kindle app on the Fire to be less than spectacular. Even trying to search for a book via the device, will not turn up correct results. I've had the complete Wizard of Oz compendium for years. The Fire doesn't find it via a search in the app. Only the most recent Oz book that I got.

OTOH, the recent update to Kindle for PC is fantastic. It is fast, I can search and find what I need, the display (text layout) is nice, and I can click through without closing the program. So forget trying to use the Fire tablet for anything but the most recent books.
