It is true when the Kindle eBook is in the Calibre database. Calibre uses .azw for Mobi and .azw3 for KF8. The post I replied to said that the .azw eBook was being converted to ePub in Calibre. So yes, in the context to which I was replying, I was correct.

Unless of course you get .mobi files instead....
