The story mentions that the 13.3" reader is using the Mobius flexible substrate display and the 6.8" reader is the same hardware which may indicate that they are using a Mobius display as well though that is not explicitly stated.

In any case, Netronix is not making the displays, they are produced by eInk.

I understand it completely. I was also interested the T68 by OnyxBoox when in was first released but many users had problems with it and I decided not to buy it. (mega cut...)
If someone knows which band/reseller sells rebranded Netronix reference designs with Android on it then let me know. I will buy it. Best of both worlds. Good hardware by Netronix and software flexibility by Android OS.
Thank you to fully understand what I mean. We do not ask too much, considering that the market is already there

In Italy we had a really smart politician that said: thinking bad of the others is a sin, but often it is funded:

I cannot find explanations to this behaviour if not company interests, could be that big players companies are interested in tracking .."big data" more than opening up their experience to Android devices.

We live in a word were marketing is possible but if you give me a screen that improves continuously the DPI( for reading books???..) but with a buggy pdf experience, lack of offline dictionaries, no filter notes tags..

I am free to not buy any product and just waiting,
my old sony works really well although is old and the Gutenberg project has a lot of stuff I still have to read with the wifi off!
