USA but I suspect her (I presume) problem is she somehow managed to dig up the Illustrated Edition which is evidently not free. The book appears to be free nearly everywhere.

I think this is a sale price, or in any case, it's very inexpensive for a book published by William Morrow, which is part of Harper Collins.

Aunty Lee's Delights by Ovidia Yu is a cozy mystery set in Singapore. I just finished it, and really enjoyed it. Although I usually like historical mysteries more than cozies, I also like books with a sense of locale. I've visited Singapore a few times, and this one rang true with its descriptions of Sentosa Island, the lushness of the vegetation, the oppressive heat and humidity, and the tourists (of which I was one).

It's listed at $1.99 at Amazon US, Kobo US, and BN US, at least. This is a lot less than most William Morrow books, which is why I'm guessing it's a sale price.

I'm now looking forward to the next book, Aunty Lee's Deadly Specials, which is coming at the end of September.
