How I met My Spouse/Wife/Husband/Lover/Friend - Page 4

My wife and I both worked in the same fast food chain. My shop closed down for remolding so the other shops absorbed us until we reopend.
She caught my eye the minute I walked in her shop for the first time. She was beautiful and shy (which I misinterpreted as snobby) so I pretty much ignored her until one day on her day off she came to pick up her paycheck. She was wearing an outfit I still remember to this day. So from that moment on I was hell bent on wining her heart.

So I did what I felt was to most logical way to win her over. I started hitting on her friend.

Ladies no disrespect, but I was young and prior to meeting my wife I had came to the conclusion that I could not understand women. So the only way to interact with them was to completely act irrational.

It seemed to work, thought myself a crafty gent. Of course it took me a few years to realize that it was no coincide that she just "happened" to be picking up her check on one of the few days I worked in her store. And I have been playing catch up since.

We've been together 20yrs now and she still looks just as pretty.

We grew up 20 minutes apart, but first happened to meet when we both were vacationing in Martinique. It was love at first sight and now we've got 26 years of marriage together with no regrets.

Here I was thinking, It was independently wealthy, 20ish super model get me all the gadgets I ever wanted mentality. (Man hope my Queen of the Universe doesnt see this)

I was travelling around south east asia... I'd stopped off in Cambodia's only coastal resort (Sihanoukville, not too bad a place really) and had decided to travel up to a remote village by share taxi. After the taxi driver tried to cram 8 people and himslef into a small toyota corrolla (the Asian/european sized model) I flipped and got him to drive me to the bus terminal where I decided to go back to the capital instead.

My wife say she met the grumpiest bloke she ever met at that bus stop.
