Ah, like a 12 string that I once forgot to loosen the strings on before storing.

I'm glad he knows more about writing a good story than about modern word processing.
He obviously does not realize how silly his notions on the topic are. |

What's silly about having a comfortable workflow, free of distractions which is robust and inexpensive to maintain / duplicate?

Mr Martin needs to learn when to end a story. I got fed up of Game of Thrones being overly dragged out somewhere in season two.

I gave up in the break between books four and five. It was already starting to go off the rails at that point; regardless of the ridiculous wait that followed. Series came down with a terminal case of the Sprawls.

Someone should give GRRM Scrivener for Christmas.
Or maybe for a birthday. Or July 4th. Whichever comes first. Graham |

Wordstar was always my favorite PC environment word processor. I'm sure his computer was upgraded enough to using a flashdrive OR he has a floppy conversion system on his other machine. Hey, it works for him if he gets the darn books out!! My Mom is 80 and she wants to read those books, so he had better get a move on them.

Neal Stephenson went further back
