Among New Leaf Publishing Group's imprints are New Leaf Press and Master Books. From some research that I did, the books that they offer for free vary, but at this time they offer two from their Master Books imprint.

Master Books publishes mainly, if not entirely, books on evidences; these two free books are books on evidences. One is The New Answers Book 4 and the other is The Tower of Babel. Dealing with questions of evidences often means dealing with scientific questions, and consequently it is important to have recent information; both of these books were published in 2013.

If you were to have to buy these ebooks they would cost quite a bit. I checked the Kindle version of The Tower of Babel, it was $7 and some change.

You can get the two ebooks in any of three formats--mobi, ePub, or pdf. You might even be able to get more than one of the formats for each book, I did not try.
