Gentlemen - it's fine to disagree with someone's point of view. Making personal attacks is, however, inappropriate.
Thank you, [Moderator] |

If you both don't think you are partaking in uncivil discourse, then clearly you are also not partaking of any opportunity to step back and look more closely at what you have written. From an external perspective, you have resorted to polarisation (broad "right versus wrong"), pejorative assumptions (asking each other to reread each other's posts or links), and ad hominem accusation or "name calling".
As simply an observer, and someone interested in these points of view and their education value, I find you are achieving no progress against each other, and certainly not giving either of your views any credibility from which external judgement and information can be taken. This is a shame. You both obviously have some knowledge to share, and it certainly is of interest and benefit. Perhaps if you shared it with each other, rather than threw it at each other, you will find that not only do you both benefit, but that your common interest and relative awareness of the subject leaves you with more in common than you have differences. In the end, on a public forum, that benefits everyone. Cheers, Marc |

Sorry from me too. Forum arguments can sometimes become self-propelled without getting anywhere
