The only free books (aside from public domain titles) on my Kobo are ones that I've specifically requested an ARC of through GoodReads, Reddit, etc. These books will not be free once they're released. I'm not a purveyor of free reads: I'm a purveyor of good reads. If those reads happen to be free, then that's a fabulous advantage, but I'm still tunnelling through a severe backlog of the works of traditionally published, popular authors. There are three self-published authors whose new works are immediate purchases for me, but they always charge a fee -- and I'm always happy to pay.
I suppose that what I'm trying to say in an incredibly convoluted manner (and thus never actually saying) is that I don't hoard books based on their price. I don't really horde anything based on price -- unless I already need an item, I don't fall for Buy One Get One offers, for instance. So I don't have a pile of free books which I may or may not read, because I simply don't seek them out on the 'free' criteria. |

I just don't maintain a list. Sometimes I seek them, other times they just, yes, popup in front of my eyes in one way or the other. Then I remember to buy and download them.

A TBR list creates pressure for me. Therefore, I have decided that I will not have one and will read books that I want to read by buying or borrowing from the libraries. There are many books that I want to read and I cannot read all of them because life is too short. I downloaded 10 freebies from Amazon and may read them when I feel that I want to.

Since I like to reread books, I would say that my TBR is every book that I have.
