I think you can pick which sources to get the downloaded metadata from.* It's not something I use (I manually copy and paste blurbs and ISBN if they're missing and am very strict about my tags and dates.

* Go to Preferences, click on Metadata download (in Sharing), Ensure the sources you want are checked and the ones you don't are not checked. Same with the metadata fields. Click Apply.

Also be sure you have the digital book ISBN's number and not the audio ISBN number.

Yeah It's a huge corporation that owns the factory which makes them impersonal.

It's...not really. I've found some leads I'm working on, but most of the stuff out there right now is for more entry level where they can hire two for the price of one experienced person or they want someone who's not only a designer, but a programmer too (I can only do HTML and basic programming/coding type stuff). The industry has really shrunk and a lot of work that professionals used to do is now done by the secretary/office manager/admin and whatever they can come up with in Word or Power Point is considered "good enough".

The good news is that the company I was layed off from is restructuring things so I may be asked to come back very late April/early May. I have a vacation to Disney World coming up that I had already paid for (hotel, food, airfare, etc.) long before getting layed off so even though I won't get unemployment for that week I'm going to go ahead and go on that and hopefully when I come back I can go back to my old job.

That's a lot of companies nowadays. And they'll keep the slackers that goof off daily, but a real worker who happens to have had a bad time gets the boot.

Yep! My hubby is too shy to take up for himself and very proud too. He doesn't like to make waves. I'm the opposite. I will speak up and I will argue my point respectfully but people know I'm very opinionated.

I'm almost done with Unwound. I really enjoyed it but don't see why it was split into two books other than to make more money.
