Before trolling posting further you might want to read their constructive input.

There is no right or wrong here, not even something up for debate. These are constructive suggestions based on feedback from new users. I'm sure Kovid will find some of the insights valuable.

Just to be clear: I was simply making a joke with regard to the title of the study (and others like it). These reports often contain useful information and by no means should be dismissed/ignored, but lets call them what they are: Intuitiveness Reports. Intended to gauge how easily new users who don't have time (or can't be bothered) to RTFM can find their way around. Nothing wrong with that, by any means, but "Usability" is bit misleading since it's already obvious that calibre is highly usable--by anyone willing to take the time to learn.

But by all means, I hope calibre can be made more intuitive for new users with some of the report's findings.

EDIT: and yes ... I just had a similar reaction to a sign in front of a factory that claimed it was hiring "production associates."

EDIT: And just to reassure long time users, I have no intention of making large redesign changes to the UI. And many changes I make will usually come with an option to restore the previous look/behavior. However, that report has many suggestions that can be usefully implemented without making too drastic a set of changes.
That's the spirit !

Kudos Kovid.
