A life without books? No way, they're too intwined with my dNA part of who I am. I can't think of something I'm watching or seeing... w/o going to a particular story I've read or wanted to.

Of course books matter greatly to me, especially since I'm not keen on movies or TV. If I had to choose between books and periodicals, I guess I'd have to give up the books, as being cut off from world events would be so isolating.

But it's all just so pointless and melodramatic. Nobody has to worry about whether or not they could "go on" without books (and you could, whether you believe so or not). Because books aren't going anywhere. And if we're talking about "end of the world" stuff, believe me, your reading time is going to be almost entirely consumed by "survival time" anyway.

Books are very important to me. Even as a child I always had a book with me, so I couldn't imagine living without books. Could never go without them!

Wow, a life without books. That would be really hard for me as I like to imagine. I need the inspirations for my imaginations and books help me do that. Television? Not so much. But that's just me.
