As one capable of devouring souls, have no idea how I scored so poorly (23 out of Marc's eleged 64( what kind of geek games a system based on ruthlessly beating children?!? I ask b/c I wanna buy that guy a beer and make him do my tax return)). Maybe it is due to the test measuring fighting, not life-ending.
As someone who once brought a shovel to a name-calling fight, am quite sure that my 23 would translate easily into real life statistics. |

"As someone who once brought a shovel to a name-calling fight..." Always good to get things off on the right foot (especially when swinging a Spear and Jackson Number 3 shovel). Cheers, Marc |

I feel compelled to point out that while the test says I could take on 17 five-year-olds in a fight, I have on multiple occasions handled a dozen 3-5 year olds for two hours without resorting to fighting. And they seemed to learn some Chinese during the experience, too.

Ah, yes, the test utterly fails to take into account hand puppets.
![]() It gave me 21, but when I went back and put in the most cold-blooded answers available, it only spat out "36." Disappointing, I was hoping for "42." Speaking of which, did anyone else notice the rampant allusions to Douglas Addams' works on this week's Dr. Who episode? (that would be the U.S. "this week's" episode -- I know we're behind) How about the subtle nod to Star Trek: TNG in this week's Battlestar Galactica? |

We have a Doctor Who film crew round the corner at the moment.
And last week cybermen were seen (by my nephew) stamping about in our local park. (The film a lot in Cardiff and Newport. My favourite episode was when they blew up my old school -unfortunately, not for real. I hated that place.) |

That would be the episode in which Rose temporarily becomes a mathematical genius? Second (new) season, I believe...

out of curiosity, how did you all take the switch from Christopher Eccleston to David Tennant ? at first i would look at him and think "pfff, *you're* not the doctor," but i admit he's grown on me. maybe i should mention that i've never seen any of the "old" doctors, having started watching only in 2005, and i *adored* Christopher Eccleston in that role, so the whole regeneration thing rather shook me. ("topic" ? there was a topic ?) |
