I just bought two paper books only because they were not otherwise available, but probably 99% of the books I buy are ebooks.

I voted 76-99. I read probably 99% ebooks, mainly library books, some purchased.
However, I recently read the first few books in a series as ebooks, then found out that the rest of the series was never made into ebooks, so I have ordered used pbooks of those.

I think about what I want the book for. If it's a book I'd like my children to read at some point in the future, I should buy a physical copy. If it's just for my pleasure, ebook.

I've done that before. I wanted a particular book but they still haven't come out with a digital copy as far as I know so I got one in paper cheap at Amazon.

I still use paper if I'm referring to multiple books at once.

I really want someone to offer an ereader (software or device) that lets me see multiple books on the screen at once (specifically, I want to have Bible text and commentary/study notes on the page at the same time). As an alternative, I'd take the ability to quickly flip back-and-forth between pages in several books.

The Logos Bible Study app does this almost perfectly, but Logos books are tied to the software and are much more expensive than epub or Kindle books.

I'll generally buy the physical book where it's more than a few dollars cheaper.

I'd say that 99% of the novels that I read are ebooks (although I have no trouble reading a DTB if I can't find the text as an ebook), but the bulk of my academic reading is from paper books (not including journal articles, which are mostly PDFs). I will buy paper versions of favourite works to lend out to friends, though. I will likely start purchasing digital versions of my video games as well.

Leisure reading: 100% ebook.

Nonfic for purposes other than personal entertainment: about 50% ebook. Some of the books I need to study are not available as ebooks; sometimes when they are, research is just easier on paper. (There are no good ereaders for research.)

Check out Olivetree. It is an app that runs on all major platforms. You can have a bible and commentrary/study notes open on the same screen. You can take notes and have the notes synced across all devices.

The books and bible tend to be a bit more expensive than some I have compared with for the Kindle. They do however have many free, good items, including bibles, maps, and commentaries. They also have frequent sales. Some of the sales have been awesome.

I only read eBooks, the last paper book I read was quite a while ago, a book that was lent to me. Other than that, it's all eBooks for me.

"People Don't Buy Books Anymore..." This kind of broad statements always makes me smile.

Only occasions which might force me to buy a paper book is either when it's for college or when the author is signing it. The latter happened two days ago and I just had to buy one to get to meet him and get a signature. Still bought the ebook though.

Kindle has the ability to switch quickly too sometimes. I've got the KJV and a Bible Encyclopedia both on my Kindle and sometimes when I want to look up the meaning of something my kindle goes from the Bible to the Encyclopedia to give me the meaning of the word. And some of the commentaries have very good links between the actual scripture and what the author of the commentary wrote about the passage in question. John Gill's commentary is good for that and the book is only $5.99 over at Amazon. As I recall it's a larger file since it contains both the bible and his commentary in one file so it does take a little longer to download. So does the Encyclopedia for that matter.
