MY method downloads chapter 1 of a number of fanfics, converts that into a single HTML file, and then I upload that into the Sony. I get 20 beginnings. That way, if 15 of them are bad (and 15 of them ARE bad..) , I can go and get the complete of the other five, and move on.

It's a lot faster a method than downloading 20 , converting 20, and uploading 20 into the reader.. only to not get past page 1 on 15 of them.
Fair enough. The downloader I used can save in a couple of different formats,
So I just copy and paste 20 7 digit numbers into it, then wait 5 mins while they download, the drop them into LibPRS give them all the same author "FANFIC" then drop them into my Reader. job done

Whereas I click a single button on a desktop and upload an entire formatted LRF "sample pack" to my device

For my extractor program? No.

I don't have to type any codes in I just give the URL of the main page (which I copy and paste) and then the python does it's thing, and interfaces with Kovid's stuff to end up with an LRF file.. which, if I have the reader plugged in, gets added.

If I find something I want, I can use another extracter to get the whole thing.. but I'm even adjusting my program to have a GUI where if I find something I like, I can simply click on a bunch of them and get the whole versions of each, sorted into their own LRF.
