New Basic Kindle arrived today

I thought they would have to pry my touch out of my cold dead fingers I loved it so much. But OMG the paperwhite is so much better. I can snuggle in bed and read while my husband sleeps. I can sit in the living room and read while everybody else watches tv.
I adore the new bold font, with my vision problems it is a dream
They will have to bury me with it

I don't think the PW is a bad device, there was a lot I actually like about it and haven't sworn it off for good (my Mom got one a while back and it works really well for her). I'd love to hear anybody's opinion on why they changed their mind.

Not all users had that issue. ;-)

I was one of the 1st users here that bought it and I am happy since then. Yes,the light on the bottom is not even, but that's better than artificial light or Kindle 4, in my opinion.

I don't want to go back and can't imagine myself using an eink device that doesn't have integrated light. Hopefully, next Amazon's milestone will be color eink, but let's see ...
