We already know that you don't even feel obligated to read a choice that you nominated and voted for, so I don't see where force enters into it.

What's with all the demands for retractions? Do we allow them? I'm against them myself. I don't see why you should be able to take back a nomination. If it's a dud it won't get any support; them's the breaks. And if it turns out to be popular, that's sufficient justification.

I'll choose my last option: let the nomination stand and if the Graphic Novel really is a problem, then it won't get any vote.
And it doesn't have to be read on an iPad or ereader; one could also go to the library or such.

As I said; its an experiment. I am going to research which graphic novels have been made that I would like to nominate. I found some links:
