-nomiltime (don't) display time in 24 hour format OR -miltime display time in 24 hour format NOTE the two different times on the screen shot. I DID notice a "bug" maybe? Looks like Code:
/mnt/us/extensions/dclock/bin/dclock -miltime -name L:A_N:application_id:Dclock may strip the top and bottom segments. (pictured) I did not investigate further, perhaps it could be fixed with other flags. Last edited by twobob; 09-09-2013 at 04:16 PM. |

I went into staples the other day, & I noticed that on the Kindle there is a 180-degree USB connector to power the unit.

Does anybody know where to get this USB connector? In setting up the Kindle as a clock, it would seem that this connector is great to be more visually appealing. |

the one in post 44 does, yes. you can make MANY changes if you want to the file extensions/dclock/bin/dclock.sh BUT they must have UNIX line endings so use a proper editor! Notepad won't work!

Starting from a blank Kindle TOUCH: 1. Grab the ISO: http://ixtab.tk/kubrick-k4-k5.zip or boot up: "Debrick" your Kindle with this program, and select the "jailbreak" option when asked. You will end up with a jailbroken KT 5.1.2. 2. Update your Kindle using the official 5.3.2 update from Amazon. You will end up with a jailbroken KT 5.3.2. AMAZON: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=200790650 Put this into you root folder, then run 'update kindle': Update_kindle_5.3.2.1.bin 3. From file: prerequisites-all-supported-devices.zip, UPDATE again with this file in root: update_k5_ALL_PW_ALL_devcerts_install.bin after reboot then file: update_k5_ALL_PW_ALL_kindlet_jailbreak_install.bin 4. Install the universal launcher... Grab KUAL.V.2.2.zip, put file KindleLauncher-2.0.azw2 into doucments folder. 5. Put entire dclock.zip content into KINDLE extensions folder. 6. Set your clock in Kindle settings menu. 7. Tap on KUAL from the documents list and then DCLOCK. DONE. |

hmm... it occurs to me however in retrospect that this will NOT be "exitable" on the PW

since there is no key to "wait for" I'll do a quick rewrap. and shove in some extras. |
