Not to mention the fact that Adobe don't "own" the PDF format any more. It was handed over to the International Standards Organization (ISO) back in 2008. It's ISO standard 32001. ie, Adobe couldn't kill PDF, even should they wish to do so.

Er..... I don't remember saying that they are going to discontinue the PDF format. Now that would be crazy.

The title may well have said that, but once you started to read the post it didn't mention the demise of PDF only the possible introduction of a new format. Surely you have used titles as a way of getting people to read what you have written? The old adage is true, Never judge a book bla bla.
