I cannot identify any fonts apart from the ones I use or see regularly:

- Verdana (use it for Windows)
- Arial, Times New Roman, Georgia (see it a lot in Word documents)
- Courier New, Consolas, Lucida Console (when programming)
- Deja Vu Serif (using it myself on my Kindle, fat custom version)
- Computer Modern (LaTeX font, one of my favorites, mainly because it supports so many ligatures)

And some other random stuff weird stuff such Webdings, Wingdings, Comic Sans.

That's about it.

However, mostly I can quickly if not immediately see if something is "wrong" (or at least, done in a way I don't like) with a font with regard to line height, spacing, kerning, symbol shapes, and so on when reading a page.

Courier is the one that looks like it was type on an old Remington typewriter, right? I like that one. I like Remington typewriters. I like how they sound. Olympics, not so much

That reminds me of my old CPT word processor, one that used a printwheel for printing. It was extremely loud, so loud that the printer needed an encloser to muffle the sound down to a loud tapping (if unenclosed the sound could be heard several rooms away).
