Hi there
I am new to this board but not new to Oberon covers/journals... I have a Kindle 3 and have several Oberon covers for it. I also bought a small sleeve but was surprised to find it being bigger than the cover and will be listing it for sale within the next week or two.

For the new Nook STR, I LOVE how the reader feels in my hands but have so much invested in my Kindle 3 that I can't justify purchasing a different reader. Also, I LOVE the fact that I can have audio books on the Kindle 3 as well as the text to speech feature which while not perfect is better than I would have ever expected. For those who have both the Kindle 3 and the Nook STR, what are the differences and is the Nook STR so much better that one would give up using the Kindle 3?

Going back to the Nook STR, being that it has a rubberized feel to it, I would think that this would prevent getting the reader in and out of a case. For my cell phone, I have a Droid X with a very thin silicone type case. The phone itself fits into the the Oberon Cell Phone Sleeve, but with the silicone cover, it won't budge.

The leather is so thick and high quality for all their products, and I've never had any issue with the pewter... I think it just adds to the overall look to their cases, covers, etc...

-- This was in response to someone asking about whether the pewter would harm the screen.
