Oh cool! That is good to know.
Do you suggest posting at the Alf blog about the ones that didn't work, or in the Calibre forum here? |

Discussing the specific details of DRM removal processes is against forum rules. Always take it to Alf.

As for the OP's question:
I e-mail everything. I'm like others--too lazy to find & hook up the USB cable. The emailATfree.kindle.com address is nice, and I send a lot of .doc and .pdf files that way, as well as books I get from Manybooks.net or PG. Another thing I do is if I'm hitting the road, and I've got a Google map for directions, I "print to PDF" and then just e-mail that to my Kindle, then I've got the directions waiting on my screen for me as I drive. It's been very helpful in a few cases. You can get this function by downloading the CutePDF driver. Instapaper is great--I use it frequently. Did not realize I could e-mail .mp3 files, but may try that as well. In any case, this has been a wonderful feature; my wife has a K3G/Wifi as well, and we have a similar but separate address for her unit--I can e-mail to one or both just as easily. |

In addition to all the things people have already mentioned, I use a Chrome browser extension called 'Send To Kindle' to send web articles to my Kindle for offline reading and reference. It really works well most of the time.

Actually, I have been looking for something like this (send to Kindle extension) for Firefox with no luck. If anyone knows of one, I would love to hear about it!

3G is only '1X' where I live, so it was never very good for me, even though it was 'free' and more ubiquitous. And as we see, it is not 'free' when pushing content, and with K3, there's a $50 surcharge for this capability. Does the K2 browser work with Dropbox? if so it's possible to email attachments to Dropbox (with 3rd party solutions), then you can download them for free over 3G. |
