Actually, it's probably more a case of Best Buy dropping Sony Readers from their shelves and clearing out old stock. Too bad this isn't available in any Best Buy near me. I already bought the PRS-350 but would've bought this for WiFi. I read a lot of fanfics which are converted via PHP+Calibre to ePub on demand.

I've been seriously tempted to get a 2nd 350 for myself just in case mine ever dies at these prices. So far I've resisted though. It's really tempting though...

I have 2 350s. First time I have ever bought 2 of the same reader. I got the silver on sale but wanted the pink. So when the pink came on sale I grabbed one. Just can't justify a 950 since I have a kindle & a nook with wifi.

I picked up my 350 Wednesday and I love it. This my first reader (other than an iPod Touch). The size is great and the touchscreen makes navigation easy.

there are no such things as Schließfrüchte (schließen means to close). And Passau is not by the Isar but at the junction of the Danube, Inn and Ilz. Now this is what you get from reading Schund!

It's impossible for anyone to know every word in a given language. If we did, we wouldn't need dictionaries.

I not only have to look up words I'm unfamiliar with but also the exact meanings of words I presume to know.

All of which can be fun, since dictionaries are works of art.

And here is one reason I love the Sony x50: It's so easy to look up words. Instead of thinking "I think I know this" I actually look it up and sometimes gets surprised.
