You are not by any chance running from source (indicated by an asterisk after the version number). That would over-ride an update of the binaries.

EDIT: Missed fact issue had been solved - but I guess mny comment might help someone else?

Search for selected book's author and title has been added as an option to Get Books. Just add it to the context menu and you can select the option. It even works with books on your device.

Sorry, I should have been more explicit. I added it to the context menu but was wondering if it will automatically populate the search field with the book I right-click to 'shop'..

Yes. Three new options were added. Search for author, search for title, search for author and title. Using those will open the store search dialog, populated with the author/title/both and it automatically starts the search.

How do I configure get books to perform this? I added it to the context menu for books in my library and now when I right click on an entry, my choices are either search, or view a specific store. When I select search, it opens the search window with nothing populated. I looked for a setting to change this in preferences and in the plugins lists but could only find the individual stores listed. I'm probably missing something obvious here, but I'm not sure where it is.

You will have to wait until Friday when 0.8.1 is released and install it. Once you have it installed you don't have to do anything.

Yes there are ways of adding additional sources, I've created plugins for Goodreads, Barnes & Noble & FantasticFiction, and just about to release one for Webscription.

However I couldnt see a way with bookcoverarchive.com that you could actually search the archive. You can browse using the dropdown, but you can't just type in "george orwell 1984" to go straight to a cover. Or at least I couldn't find it. Pretty website but without a proper search it is rather crippled to use?
