I saw that one time also on my sony - just one instance where one line went 1 letter further to the right than all of the other (justified) lines - thought it was a bug but decided not to investigate unless I notices it more than once, it was not in an ADE book, just basic net fodder converted to epub.

OR - leave mdash as-is, sell Kindle, buy Sony ( now £20 cheaper than when I bought mine last month)

I do miss the 5 way button for next / prev chapter , but it's great not to have to faff around with epub to mobi conversions & to have proper support of dropcaps etc., & collections management - when used with calibre - is excellent - & touch screen page turning, word look up, bookmarking is great.

twas a lot of hassle to use kindle dictionary with s l o w cursor movement to the word in question, but a quick double tap of any word on sony brings up the definition.

Does the Sony still have that ridiculously brief character limitation when copying text that my PRS-600 has?

That's why I prefer my Kindle. I can't read without constantly making notations and copying text for future quotation.
