Mine just says 'not shipped yet'

But the waiting time for the International Kindle is now down to 1 to 2 weeks. It seems like they're catching up

I ordered 2 Wi-Fi Graphite and 1 white 3G yesterday for delivery to a US address. My delivery estimate is 19 - 20 January. The "expected to ship" time when I ordered (and today) is 8 to 9 days for both these items so i'm not sure why it's going to take so long, especially since i'm trialling Amazon Prime which gives me free two day shipping.

I'm travelling from Australia and having them delivered to my hotel. I depart on the 20th though so i'm VERY nervous they aren't going to arrive in time.

If you're that close with time, you might want to consider one day shipping for $3.99 (Amazon Prime).

Congratulations. My order was placed January 4 and I have a January 14-20 delivery date.

Did you place the order in the morning?

I placed an order on the morning of the 1st while it still said 3-5 days on the main Kindle page. It wasn't long after that and it had jumped to 7-10 days.

Bumped again - last time I promise(!) - to say that the gift for my folks shipped today. They're going away on vacation on the 19th, which is now plenty of time, but I was kind of nervous after ordering.

I'm a bit concerned after reading reports of lousy 3G service in (theoretically) covered areas (I bought it so they wouldn't have to learn side-loading), but that's another matter ....

I placed an order for a Graphite 3G about 12 hours ago. It's already moved to "shipping soon" and my order can't be changed.

I just wish the white and Wi-Fi only models were that quick. My previous order for those that was placed on the 5th is still showing as delivery estimate of 19-20 Jan.

Just changed mine to one day shipping and the delivery date changed from 1/13 - 1/19 to delivery 1/10.

Glad because it will be a birthday gift on the 15th and I was getting worried.

Sorry for the late post, but yes I sent to a mail forwarding site (Shipito) and they sent it to me.
