First time a saw a Kindle 3 was November 15th, on the Eurostar from London back to Brussels at night. Some business man had it along with the standard leather cover.

Sure enough, the geek inside me immediatly woke up and pointed it out to my gf next to me:

"One day I'm gonna get one of these"
Her: "What is that? It looks stupid..."

Damn it woman, get along with technology ^^

Sure enough, a month later, I ordered it online. The only thing that has kept me from buying it was actually seeing it up close to judge its size and display.

Thank you anonymous business man!

I see Kindle 3s daily on my commute. On my way to work on the subway, I usually see two or three other people reading on Kindle 3s near me. If counting the Nooks and Sonys, or previous Kindle versions (mostly Kindle 2) I will see at least 5 or 6 eBook reading devices daily.
