I very much like the Amazon lighted cover. The light works extremely well, and it provides very good protection for the Kindle. It's expensive, yes, but (IMHO) worth the money.

Yes, almost twins; ignoring some eeny meeny things.

For the iPad: I like the cover being folded back and then the iPad gets slightly elevated, when reading in land-scape. (at an angel of ca. 11 degrees)

For me the soft felt on the inside of the Oberoncover feels really good. It buffers the glasscreen of my Kindle sufficiently, I feel.
Though I'm always finicky with my electronic things: I let the Kindle fall out of my hands once and I was lucky it wasn't broken. I just can happen and if you've got a sturdy cover, Oberon or another one, it helps.

In the little pocket on the inside flap of the cover, I have always a small business-card (plastified and cut to size)with things like registrationnr Kindle and such (for when he's defective). On the back of the Kindle a sticker with another bussinesscard.

I don't own one, but I can see where having an attached light at your fingertips that needs no batteries (it is powered from the rechargeable Kindle battery) would be big selling point.

And here's the good news: I received an e-mail a couple of days ago. UPS has my Oberon iPad cover and it's on it's way. The estimated arrival is the 20th. A bit longer than I've come to expect from UPS, but I suppose that's because of the Christmas rush.

I made several blush * *. I do not know how the delivery in the United Kingdom is working with Oberon. I know that are also available on Amazon, I do not know if that affects the entire

I just checked. Oberon products are available on Amazon, but oddly enough, their line of Kindle covers doesn't seem to be among them.

Don't let the low prices scare you off. Great cover and accessories.

I believe that the covers that have the closing flap attached to the right hand side of the Kindle, next to the page turn buttons, were in fact designed by robots. I cannot conceive of a human being actually making that decision and thinking it was a good idea.

On that note, I think the kindle covers that have slots for credit cards and a transparent ID holder were designed by a race of giant beings who are capable of using their Kindle cases as wallets.
