We are all different and have different hobbies.
My better part understands it, she knows that it is so much better than going to a pub with fellow mates, or watching football or any other type of sport, or drinking in excess, or go camping with friends only, or ...unexpectedly getting too much work and having to stay late working on...another voracious female reader
I do miss a bit that she doesn't read the same books as I do, so we would discuss the books but she totally supports my reading hobby. She never said a word against, but to the contrary only encouraged me to buy books. Even when I only moved to the UK and was jobless.

My wife doesnt read very much for entertainment. She is always going over medical books and whatnot for work so I dont blame her for wanting a break from all them words.
