The jailbreak and screensaver was pretty darn simple. The reason I wanted to do it and did it was to have OWNER info displayed on the screensaver images in the event I did misplace the unit. So I went through a few hiking trips and extracted portions of images, converted to bw and entered OWNER text (and a "slide the power switch" proviso at the bottom)

Applying the jailbreak and screensaver hack was indeed very simple - after all, NiLuJe did all the work! I didn't think about adding text to the screensavers I used. That's a good idea, FF2. Of course, I won't ever misplace my Kindle....
