Some of us have pretty terrific spouses My husband says I should get a Kindle 3 so I have access to the books I can't get at B&N with my nook......But I really like the touch screen on the nook & the keyboard that goes with that touch screen...Decisions decisions.

The Nook looks really interesting but I refuse to consider it as it may make me more mental than I've already become haha..plus I hear its pretty much US only..

I have a confession

I'm off tomorrow to possibly buy the PRS350 for my on the go ereader. I'd really like the 650 but not sure I can justify the extra $$ right this minute ..I already pre-ordered the new Kobo today also
I really need to narrow this down though as I really only want three at the most 2 would be best though

Don't feel guilty, I am green with envy and wish I had several readers! You don't have the hassle to convert to this or that format and you get to try nifty gadgets. Plus, imagine you get a house guest and don't have an spare ereader to offer. What kind of hospitality is this? I'd be appalled. The horror!

In any case, I think it's common sense having a go ereader and a ereader with a bigger screen to use at home. I am thinking of buying the Pocketbook 903 when it comes out if it is soon enough. Or the Kindle DX, if the Pockectbook is not out by October. Or both. Heir and spare indeed!

Some people are nuts for cars, TVs, gaming systems, clothes or travel extensively every year. That's OK, it's their thing. Whatever makes you happy and you can afford, of course. We are nuts for ereaders. So what? Is reading such a shameful habit? . My Gran used to think so.

I totally agree ! Having different readers that can handle different formats is absolutely necessary, especially if you're one of those people who download books using torrents (not me of course ).

What's also important to me is the look of the reader. I would like to switch between different readers, depending on my mood. I just wish they were a little cheaper. Looking forward to my Christmas bonus already I'll probably get the Pocketbook 902 and Cybook Orizon.

Thankfully I don't have anyone to tell me what I can or cannot buy... that is of course, except for my wallet.

And there's definitely enough money there for a Sony 650, as long as I don't eat, drink or smoke for a week...

It's all about priorities isn't it. Eating is overrated

My husband is great, but I don't need his say-so to buy another reader. He doesn't need mine, either.

My hubby wasn't giving me permission either. But he was probably getting tired of hearing about the books I couldn't get at B&N. Plus I've learned after 40 years, when he keeps encouraging me to buy something it means a big purchase is in the offing for him.
