Javed, exactly! I've also downloaded a boatload of children's books so I can read to the kids when we're out and about and have some time to fill.

And all the landfill saved too on future eBooks.

Ok, I reread the faqs on theezreader.com and have a couple questions:
1. When installing books on the SD card, the site says you have to connect the pocket pro to your computer and install from there, when the computer recognizes the drive. Is it possible to just put the card into the SD slot on my computer and install that way? 2. Once I install the firmware upgrade, can I delete the file from the SD card, or does it need to remain on there? Thanks! |

2) After the firmware upgrade you can delete it quite happily as the firmware has been copied to the device. I forget who it was but on another thread it was suggested that you keep and archive of all the firmwares you install in the event you do an upgrade and don't like it and want to go back. |

there is one case when you should use you connection to a computer to do the transfer even to the SD card. That case is when you purchase a DRM eBook and you want ADE to perform the transfer. It is not required but easier. Dale |

I switch to internal memory (Not in a book: Menu - 5) before removing the SD card. Inserting the SD card, auto-magically switches back to the SD card, and usually refreshes the list when done in this order. The correct clock setting is needed if you check out Library e-books to read. Last edited by theducks; 02-05-2010 at 05:39 PM. Reason: Additions to clock note |
