I've added a photo so you can compare yourself. Glo on left, Glo HD on right both set to 1%. Of course the camera exposed for the brighter light on the Glo.

Thanks for taking the shot. You say the camera exposed for the brighter Glo, so is the Glo HD light on minimum setting brighter than it appears in this image? The light looks extremely even for such a low setting.

I have a very nice rigid leather Kobo Touch case that I've been using on my Kobo Glo. Because the Glo is slightly shorter than the Touch, the elastic corners don't hold the Glo as securely, so I put Velcro strips on the back of my Glo and on the case. Works like a charm for me. But I always leave my Glo in the case. I'm not sure if the Velcro will stay fast for someone who likes to take their Glo out of the case often.

Where is the best place in the U.S. to order one? Is it better to order somewhere besides Kobo?

I ordered from Chapters, and the USD price including shipping comes to $118.64. No idea if it's any better or cheaper or quicker than Staples.ca to the US though.

Not sure about the sleep cover:

How can you hold the device if that flap on the right is in the way?

Not entirely sure what you mean. The flap does fold back so that it's not sticking out.

I've never liked covers with any type of flap, they always get in the way and annoy me. You have to be careful you fold them back just right when you open the reader and hold it right to keep the flap tucked between the covers. And then when closing the reader, the flap can accidentally flip the pages so when you open it up next time, you're on a different page.
