Thank you, Brian. I figured it must be 1st gen, but wasn't entirely sure. As much as I'd love to have one, the absence of a mechanism for extra storage gives me pause.

Thanks for posting this! I bought one for 279 on Amazon, then the pice went down to 229 right after I had received it, and Amazon refunded the difference (I love Amazon), so I also bought another one as a present, and that was already a great deal.
The one I got to gift as a present has two dead pixels, so I may try to get one online on Monday. It's a great little PC...
It's full Windows, so you can read epub on anything avaibale in Desktop mode, like ADE, B&N, etc.

Buyers also have to ante up the necessary taxes and shipping fees.

Who knows how much that will come up to.

That's why I own a Nexus 7, a 64GB microSDXC card and one of these. If you're rooted, you can use Stickmount with the Meenova; if not, there's Nexus Media Importer.

The only thing I can't do with the Meenova is use the USB port as a digital out to a DAC while listening to music, which is why I keep high-res FLAC versions of certain classical pieces on the N7.

Most people wouldn't bother with USB audio on an unrooted N7.2 anyway, since mp3s are out. That's because the only music player which forces USB audio to work on the N7 -- USB Audio Recorder Pro -- requires wav, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis or AIFF.

But if you're interested, the cheapest and most elegant DAC/OTG cable path to USB audio is the $30 HiFiMeDIY Android DAC. It uses the same Sabre DAC chip as the Dragonfly DAC (which costs about $250) and looks like a tiny headphone adapter.

Since you can replenish the N7 with a $19 Qi charger by a company like Lerway, you can keep the Meenova attached even when the N7's battery is low.

On Cyber Monday, Amazon offered 64GB Sandisk SDXC cards for around $34. Higher-capacity cards seem to be getting cheaper every month!

If you're willing to stay with MetroPCS for six months and pay your monthly bill on time, they offer the S4 for $540 (or did when I picked up mine six months ago).

True to their word, they sent me the carrier and SIM unlocking codes exactly six months later.
