Surprisingly, several retailers still list the PRS-300 as available. Reputable source have it for $129 or so, Amazon Marketplace (you takes your chacnes), as low as $79. Those are the prices I want the PRS-350 to hit! I may take a jaunt to Frys. It's a gamble at this point. Play it safe and get it for a discount. Or wait for it to really drop when the closely-priced PRS-T1 hits retail.... but chance the PRS-350s all being sold out! I actually would buy the PRS-300, but I hate unjustified text. And PRS+ isn't a solution since I still use LRF. -Pie |

$90 is a good deal. I paid $108 several months ago at a Borders closing. Sadly, I no longer have my 350. I was going to give a set of K3s to my son and DIL and already had one K3. My son came over to pick it up and saw my 350. When he left, not only did he have the K3, but he also had my new 350. That was the one he wanted. Oh well; at least it has a good home. |

Frys now has the T-1 listed for preorder-- the three colors, plus the black with the HP coupon and without. 9/30 availability date. Also has two covers - one at $49 with light and $39 w/o light. |

Oh, I got the price of the cover w/o light wrong, too -- it's $35, not $39. This will be my first e-ink reader. Do most here prefer a cover with a light? |

If you read in places with low light like in bed or on a plane, then the lighted cover is a great idea. They are quite popular with the Sony and Kindle users. I have the Sony lighted cover with my 350 and really like it more than I expected to. I use a clipon light with my other readers.

I have the light cover for the 650. If it's anything like that, spend the extra $15 and get the light cover. I do use my light cover in bed and it helps a lot. Much better then having to keep the nightstand light on.

I have a lighted cover for my 505, but I have to admit the only place I ever use it is the movie theater. I do prefer the light wedge design of it that no one makes anymore. Go by how you read paper books - if you prefer a booklight, get a lighted cover. If not, don't. |
