Overcast, blowy, wet. In the last 12 hours we've had 232mm/9.1" of rain. The house resprung a leak and we're yet to check if there's any others. So, definitely spring/summer is upon us.

While t's not very abnormal (3 years ago, just before we moved here, they had about 600mm/23.6" in a 24hr period), it does tend to shift things. Noosa Parade has had a minor landslip (closing the road with sand) and a pool up at the Picture Point Terraces apartments is badly undermined by that same landslip to the point they're worried about it adding to the problem. We might go for a walk later...see if anything else has happened (we've had a largish stream of water from the neighbors run down the side, washing the sand in one spot out of the high side garden, down towards the front, and onto the driveway. Not a problem at all, though, technically we're considered to be in a landslip area (last house down the hill to qualify- Woohoo! - so you always tend to worry, especially when somewhere else slips.

Just light rain now. I think some more heavier stuff expected tonight

The rain is easing up now. I told it to stay away for a couple of hours until I get back from the gym. I wann ride my treadlie. It takes just as long to get there in the car, and I am trying to minimise the exhaust emmissions I am responsible for.
