The short guy was holding a gat taller than he was. The blonde was repairing her face.

'The blond was repairing her face'; now that got my attention a lot more than the tall gat in the hands of the small guy, besides with every shot he went backwards three paces.....

I saw bits of what looked like skin in the blonde's hands as she tried desperately to repair the damage, I caught a glimpse of raven coloured hair under what was, obviously, a wig.

Spotting the wig made me wonder what other parts of her might be fake. Right then and there I made a pact with myself; I would find out if those abundant ta-tas were real, if it was the last thing I did...today.

The plane had become engulfed in flames before it could take off! Maybe the short guy shot it too?

Quickly we ran, altogether luckily in the same direction, away from the plane. It exploded and the blast threw us into an untidy heap of legs, arms, bodies with bits of skin and hair drifting in the wind above us.

I spit chinchilla fur out of my mouth and reached for my trusty flask to rinse out the taste of burning jet fuel. A delicate cough underneath me alerted me that I wasn't alone.

I wasn't alone, but the body beneath me was soft, warm and ...... "Ouch" - I yelled as a sharp implement caught me in a place I shall not describe in public conversation.

"Get yer sell off of me, " she said only half-way seductively; then she pushed and rolled me to the ground, stood slowly and carefully with nary a word or moan, but by 'eck if looks could kill, roast or throttle any relationship thoughts I harboured in my tiny mind, they were well and truly cindered !

After removing her stiletto heel from my unmentionable place, the blonde bimbo stood up and brushed the ashes from her dress, and brushed my helping hands off as well. Then she glared around her and demanded "Where's my purse?"

I was hurt, I mean really hurt, after all who had found the photograph, who was it who was sticking to this dame like glue; whilst all her other 'friends' appeared to have deserted her, where were they in her hour of need, on the 'plane that just blew itself to smithereens and kingdom come ?!

I muttered to myself as she continued, "we need to adjust the parameters of our search; the photograph, it has a map on the reverse and a clue."

This wasn't your typical "pirate 'X' marks the spot" type of map. It was a very detailed representation of East LA.
